The Solution: Wise Women Walk
Walking is the most popular form of physical activity. It has the lowest dropout rate according to the American Heart Association and best of all, it’s cheap! But what if you don’t have time? I have literally hopped out of bed, thrown on a pair of old pants, t-shirt and sneakers and BAM! I am out the door! By learning the art of racewalking, you can accomplish the same goal as running without all the stress to your joints. In fact, a huge study of over 32,000 women and more than 8,000 men conducted by the National Walker’s Health, found that those who took the longest weekly walks, not necessarily accumulated the most mileage per week, were more likely to use less medication.
